The feature is based on the qemu Hot Upgrade Series patch that Steve Sistare submitted to the qemu community.

qemu hot upgrade is intended to replace a running qemu without shutting down a VM. It can be used to fix qemu bugs, launch new features, and upgrade online qemu versions without affecting online services as much as possible. Compared with VM live migration, qemu hot upgrade has the following advantages: 
1. The hot upgrade time of qemu is very short and can be completed in milliseconds, which has less impact on online services. 
2. Support hot upgrade of VM with passthrough device; 
3. The temporary resources used in the upgrade process are very small. 
4. Use this feature to further implement the hot upgrade of the kvm module.
Based on the implementation of the current open source community version, we have mainly done the following work: 
1. Port the high version of Community 7.0 to Euler 6.2; 
2. Fixed some of the bugs; 
3. Support hot upgrade of virtual machines with complex device passthrough (like NVIDIA Gpu); 
4. Support libvirt; 
5. Support hostmem-file, sandbox, etc. 
6. support vhost user backend and the vhost user backend is unaware of the hot upgrade. 
7. Supports asynchronous start of new qemu and rollback mechanism if the upgrade fails.
